What a great ending to a great series. So much happens in this final book, and I don't like giving away a story in a review. I will say that this book had more sad, touching moments. This is one of my all time best loved series. I so want another installment set several years later, just to see how things are going for everyone. I did something I rarely do, after finishing the first book, I emailed my sister and aunt the complete series list and told them they had to read it. My aunt only intended to read the first one, but is now on the second book and has told her daughter, you have to read this series. I will miss these characters, and will retread it again.Product details

This is a wonderful series and I get so excited when I see a new Lady Bug Farm book! Donna Ball has a wonderful way of telling a story that have love, hope and laughter blended into the characters in the most heartwarming and believable way - you want to take her characters to lunch or under your wing - or invite them all over for a party!
What can I say? I simply love all Ladybug Farms books and all the people in them. Oh, and...in this one, I totally knew who the secret donor angel was! But that's because of all my prior reading and because I feel I know these people as well as friends, not because of any weakness in the writing!
Rating in context of genre. I love Donna Ball's Raine Stockton series and gave this book a try because of that. Completely different style of book, but just as enjoyable. This book is charming, the characters loveable, and the setting lovely.
I loved this whole series... They have interesting characters, delightful descriptions of the country. There is virtually no romance in these books. They are more about mature women reinventing themselves. Fans of Debbie McComber will like these books.
I love Ladybug Farms. As a matter of fact, I would love to be like the 3 ladies in the book when it is my time to retire. I have read all the other books and love them, this one is not to disappoint. It is good to read a book where you are cheering for the characters and don't feel like you need to blush from the sex page after page. I love that from the first book to this one this is constant companionship and love.

I laughed again
and ended with a sigh that it was over and I would have to wait for the next in the series (hope it is soon)
The ladies of Ladybug Farm continue to have wonderful adventures and their ability to pull a misadventure into a success makes for great reading. A reader feels the emotions that flow through with the telling of these adventures and it is so hard to put the book down until you are finished. Other reviewers will give the story line so I will leave that to them. But I believe the author has left us with a bit of a cliffhanger for the next in the series. A reader could read this book in the series as a stand alone book but I encourage one to read the series. Chick lit for us baby boomers doesn't get better than this...
I love the Lady Bug Farm series and have read all the books. This book was a little less than "Vintage". One of the characters , several times, over the course of the book voices the thought... "Who couldn't see that coming?". In this vein, the book was very predictable, with less of the laugh out load moments the other stories had. There were teary eye passages that were well done and the book neatly tied up several lines that had been left dangling. I was in the mood for a "light" book and this one clearly fit the bill. I did think it lacked the drama/conflict that made some of the other Lady Bug Farm books more interesting.
